You will receive the exact same unit that you see in the photos. The only thing we tested was hooking up a battery to it and pressing the battery test button and the meter showed it to be working. No other further testing or troubleshooting took place. The unit does have physical imperfections as seen in the photos. Pieces of the internal foam in the casing is falling apart as the older it gets, it does that.
